First Class

It is back to Netherlands for us. We caught the RER from Marne la Vallée to Châtelet Les Halles, then jump across to the train to Gare du Nord. It is a beautiful old station but had plenty of beggers accosting the tourists. Here we took the Thalys high speed train to Rotterdam first class, which was much better than flying. With good food, wine and company, the journey was soon over. After a short Inter City train and bus hop, we were home. Well sort of.

Looks too like you will have something to talk about with Guy, sharing your now great experience of public transports - mainly train - in Europe.
