Dankie Vrouekeur


Weekend has arrived with Matthew in tow. I have just arrived home from picking him up in the East Rand and now Matthew is plonked in front of the television with Jade while I sit like I do all day at work in front of the computer.

Just heard from a work colleague from my Metrorail days that my successful complaint in October 2008 to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) about a billboard advertisement was mentioned in an Afrikaans magazine, die Vrouekeur. This week's edition of Vrouekeur magazine mentioned the Rocky Condoms advertisement that was withdrawn because of the wrong impression it gave the public. At least after four years someone remembered my good works. Noddy Badge for me.
