50 Shades of Green



We took the slow road back up to Johannesburg from Durban and wow, the first part of our journey took us through the 50 shades of green that is beautiful Kwa-Zulu Natal.


From snot green forests in the mist, over the sad mystical emerald waters of Wagendrift where ended up at the khaki green foothills of the Drakensberg. All shades of lush green could be seen everywhere and it was pleasing to the eye.


It was kind of sad to leave the green hills of Natal which was once our home far behind us as we slogged through the flat lands of the Free State towards that smog fulled big city that we now call home.
